Privacy statement relating to the use of data collected directly through the FareShare website.
FareShare is the data controller of all personal information collected from this site, except where the site itself specifically indicates otherwise.

It only processes personal information collected openly from you as you travel through the site. In addition, it tracks and analyses general usage of the site. Data generated does not, however, contain personal information, but simply records how many people access particular pages.

Any personal information collected by it will be processed for one its charitable purposes. Explanations will be given at the point of the collection (e.g. an application form) about how your data will be used.

When you enter parts of the site where data is controlled by other companies, this will be indicated on the site itself. Those parts of the site will then indicate the uses to which any personal data collected from you will be put.

If you are asked to contact someone for further information or goods or services, an explanation of the purposes for which any personal information collected from you will be used will be given by that contact person.

If you use standard e-mail for communication with FareShare, this will not be protected and you should be aware that FareShare cannot guarantee that it remains confidential whilst in transit. All e-mail sent to FareSare will be monitored and checked to ensure our systems operate effectively.

This privacy statement only covers the FareShare website - links within this site to external websites, including sites run by FareShare partner projects, are not covered by this policy.
