FareShare South West will be hosting a Surplus Supper Club on Saturday 10 May, proving that surplus foods can be transformed into a fancy four course fine dining menu. The dinner will be accompanied by cabaret and storytelling. All profits will go to FareShare

Using food provided by FareShare South West, a chef will demonstrate how to cook a simple yet nutritious meal with food that is easy to get. 12 guests and 12 conversationalists from the local community will be invited to the meal to stimulate a discussion about food accessibility, its obstacles within the area, and ways to motivate people to cook more at home. Bristol University and University of the West of England will be documenting the event as part of a wider study about food accessibility.
