FareShare is 10
Since flying the nest from parent charity Crisis in 2004, we’ve expanded our work right across the country and are now delivering surplus food to 1,296 charities and community organisations. At the core of today’s operation is the same simple belief that started it all off – that good food should not be wasted while people go hungry.
But there’s still more to do as we estimate that 400,000 tonnes of good quality food could be going to waste, that would be enough for 800 million meals every year.
Thank you to everyone that has supported us over the past decade and who continues to support us now.
