Food industry explores how surplus food can feed people and change lives

We’re excited to be hosting the first ever surplus food summit, in partnership with the Food and Drink Federation, the British Retail Consortium and the Fresh Produce Consortium.

We expect a great turn-out and look forward to meeting and engaging with all our guests. The day is a chance to hear from organisations in the UK food industry that are leading the way in redistributing their surplus food to people in need. It will ensure that everyone leaves with the inspiration, ideas and practical solutions to help play their part.

We have some fantastic speakers from across the UK food industry joining us, including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Kellogg’s and Nestle. Along with other examples of industry leading best practice, they will demonstrate how retailers and manufacturers are implementing resource efficiency measures that have a tangible impact on cutting their waste whilst ensuring surplus food is made available for redistribution.  Find out more about our speakers.
