FareShare nominated for Third Sector's 'Most Admired Charity' Award

FareShare are pleased to annouce that they are one of five nominees for the Third Sector’s Most Admired Charity.
The nominees, including Help for Heroes and the Woodland Trust, have been chosen by Third Sector and a panel of advisers, and the voting is restricted to chief executives of voluntary organisations.

Tony Lowe, CEO of FareShare says, ‘It is an honour for us to be nominated for this award alongside such well-known and respected organisations. Food waste and food poverty are key challenges for the UK in 2010 and, sadly, for the foreseeable future, yet they do not always get the attention they deserve. Being nominated for this prestigious award will help bring these important issues to wider public attention while at the same time making many organisations in the third sector aware of how FareShare can help them improve their services to vulnerable people across the UK.’

If you are or if you know a CEO of a voluntary organisations, you/they can vote for FareShare here
The deadline for voting is the end of the day on Monday 8 March.
