Corporate Partnerships

Developing sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.

There are now new and unique opportunities for FareShare to work together with your company to develop mutually beneficial, integrated partnerships through an understanding of your CR objectives and the priorities of your business.

Supporting our projects would help ensure your company is having the biggest possible impact on the community and environment in which both organisations operate, while at the same time actively engaging employees, customers and key stakeholders.

For more details on how your company can get involved, please contact Helen Fleming, Corporate Development Officer, on tel: 020 7394 2471 or email: helen.fleming@fareshare.org.uk

FareShare Strategic Champions

FareShare’s new partnership with Accenture is helping us to deliver our Employability Training Programme for our volunteers and other disadvantaged clients at our London depot. Accenture employees are also actively involved in the partnership – from volunteering in the depot to using their supply chain skills and expertise to help improve the performance of our national network. Cargill has started its partnership with FareShare in 2009 by supporting the expansion of the FareShare network in the UK - specifically the planned set-up of a new depot in Liverpool. The partnership will also be involving Cargill employees providing volunteer support and sharing their expertise in logistics, health and safety, food safety and procurement. Our close partnership with Deutsche Bank since 2005 has enabled FareShare to increase the number of vulnerable people able to access FareShare’s food across some of the most disadvantaged boroughs in London. Deutsche Bank’s dedicated staff are at the heart of the partnership, and regularly donate their time to help work at our London food depot.

Developing from the innovative partnership that began in 2006 - working together to pilot & launch FareShare’s social enterprise – our relationship with Nestlé has developed to now incorporate support for our Eat Well Roadshow programme, our 3 year national expansion plans, and logistics consultation.
Our long-term partnership with Sainsbury’s has seen the two organisations develop a wide-ranging strategic relationship: from FareShare being featured on a range of Christmas cards sold in-store, to increasing the amount of Sainsbury’s ‘fit for purpose’ surplus food can reach those most in need through FareShare.

SODEXO – a case study

Since 2005, Sodexo and FareShare have been working together to tackle hunger and poor nutrition through Sodexo’s STOP Hunger campaign. Volunteering is at the heart of this partnership, with more than 80 Sodexo employees helping to deliver FareShare food to community projects last year.

Volunteering gives employees the chance to make a real difference, promoting team-building and pride and inspiring STOP Hunger fundraising.

One Sodexo employee who recently volunteered in London said this: ‘Seeing things first hand and being part of the excellent service FareShare provides in the community to those not as fortunate as ourselves was quite humbling. I would definitely volunteer again’
