Why FareShare? “Volunteering enabled me to keep active and to get out of the house. It gradually introduced a daily routine back into my life. I like having the opportunity to help numerous charities. It enables me to give something back to the local community.”

What do you enjoy about volunteering? “I enjoy volunteering at FareShare as it’s given me the opportunity to learn more skills, keep my CV active, & gain more experience to improve my employability. Since working at the depot, I have gained a forklift license, Level 2 Food Safety and a Level 2 QCF in warehousing & storage. I have also become a qualified forklift instructor, and train current and new volunteers to enable them to gain their forklift licenses.”
